At our Central Operation, we have fixed schedule planning, with daytime hours Monday to Friday, which means a 40-hour work week. During on-call duty, we have a rotating schedule and currently a weekly working time of 35.55 hours. The on-call duty involves three shifts Monday to Friday and two shifts on weekends, with active night work. As the operation stands today, you will have the opportunity to work daytime Monday to Friday, but in the long term, rotation with day/night/weekend shifts may become relevant. Region Dalarna offers a generous wellness allowance.

Operating Nurse for Central Operation Mora

As an operating nurse, you will be part of the surgical team along with nursing assistants and anesthetists. You are responsible for systematically planning and organizing work in connection with surgical procedures, ensuring that hygienic and aseptic principles are met, and preventing the spread of infection. Other usual tasks for an operating nurse are included.

Our requirements are that you:

• are a licensed nurse with a specialist nursing degree in operating room nursing

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience from the operating department

We are looking for someone who is positive and meticulous, has a patient-focused approach, and a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues. You should also be able to express yourself easily in Swedish, both spoken and written, and be able to work in a digital medical record management system. Your ability to multitask and handle stress is good, and you have the capacity to keep many balls in the air. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and a flexible working style. You are engaged and contribute to a good working environment. A strong emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and previous references.
